In this article, I want to share my experience of participating in the perfume workshop of Fragonard factory in Grasse, France.
Some like more oriental odor, while others prefer citrus scents. Perfumes can be divided into different families of fragrances.
Orientals:
Generally, oriental perfumes are sweet, spicy, frags. most of the time "heavy" since sweet scents tend to have a lot of silage. The family of oriental perfumes can be recognized by its warm and sensual fragrances. Its character is intense and contains ingredients like musk, vanilla, caramel, almond and cinnamon.
Florals:
Flowers are the most important ingredients in this fragrance family, it contains ingredients like orange blossom, rose, jasmine, violet and lily.
Fresh:
This family presents a wide variety of notes, from aromatic scents to citrus scents like lemon, apple and mandarin.
Woodlands:
Wood is the base note of many perfumes. The fragrances of this family are warm and mysterious and contain ingredients like sandalwood and cedar.

So we had the chance to use three types of fragrances to prepare our own perfume, which were in the group of Florals (with the base of roses), Fresh (with the base of lemon) and Woodlands (with the base of cotton). Each flacon contained 30 perfumes and The base of the florals fragrance was made of magnolia, which has been selected as the flower of the year this year. It is interesting to know that Fragonard chooses a flower every year that produces different fragrances, soaps and … with the scent of that flower. Those flacons containing accords illustrating the radiant facets of the Magnolia flower in the heart of summer, diluted at 10% in alcohol.
Flacon N° 1: The light, the magnolia flower captures the slightest rays of the sun, welcomes the heat and diffuses the light!
Flacon N° 2: Wonder, the magnolia flower is delicate and sensitive. its gourmet, unexpected fragrance enchants our senses and amazes us.
Flacon N° 3: Tenderness, the magnolia flower, an immense pearly cup, blows a tender fragrance that awakens our bodies numbed by winter.
So we have been told: Imagine and create your "magnolia" eau de toilette like a perfumer! Then we started adding ingredients one by one.

It was a great experience for me and I love the result thank Fragonard!
To create a strong brand, a beautiful and unique customer experience must be created. Brand experience is the basis for predicting consumer behavior that has a positive effect on consumer satisfaction and consumer loyalty and also has a positive effect on brand personality which Fragonard did it well. So we will talk about this in detail in another article.
After this workshop we were led to a hall where there were Fragonard products, which were cheaper than the same products in the shops. What caught my eye in this hall was the variety of colors, attractive packaging and products that made customers want to buy. Colors can be a visual feature to identify the manufacturer, because through color, information or messages that are specific to the manufacturer can be conveyed to the audience. The importance of colors today is such that even the buyer may choose a product based on its color, or that choosing the wrong color will prevent the sale of a device, although efficient.
In other words, the role of colors is vital for the product and in this regard, the level of knowledge of visual laws, psychology and physiology and correct understanding of the phenomenon of color is inevitable.

Additional description :
The composition of the perfume:
A perfume is made up of various elements, some of which evaporate faster than others. It also allows one scent to be much more present and dominant than another, just after application or after several hours. The structure of a perfume, also called an olfactory pyramid, is divided into 3 notes:
Head note: these are the main notes of the perfume that you smell from the first minutes after application and are present in a dominant way. The top note opens the show and makes the first application a real pleasure. It will nevertheless be the first to disappear. Top note example: citrus notes.
Heart note: these are the second notes of the perfume and therefore appear when the first notes have disappeared. An example of a middle note are the different floral scents. This note is the most important part of the fragrance because it lasts longer than the top note.
Base note: these are the last notes of the perfume, which can stay for hours. Example of a base note: sandalwood, vanilla, amber and musk.
